The Reapers Are The Angels 3

I just finished one of the best novels I have ever encountered. It is called The Reapers Are The Angels and the author is Alden Bell. I am not sure if this is his first book but his writing was fantastic and I hope he writes more. The book is about the Zombie Apocalypse but it is not like a lot of other Zombie literature and movies. Sure there are the bloody battles and the biting others like in all Zombie books, but this book is different. The Reapers Are The Angels gives the zombie characters life and emotion and it is almost believable, like those zombies could actually exist somewhere in real life. I am now moving on to the next zombie book called Warm Bodies. I hope it is as good as The Reapers Are The Angels.

To Kill A Mockingbird Review

To Kill A Mockingbird is an American Classic. It takes place in Maycomb County, Alabama with Atiicus, Jem, and Scout Finch as the three main characters. Miss Maudie is a secondary character but still plays a big role in the novel. The book is filled with numerous similes and metaphors and Harper Lee, the author, does a great job of developing each character with details, dialogue and just the right amount of action. I recommend this book for all ages and I would definitely recommend that schools put this book on their literature curriculum. Lastly, To Kill a Mockingbird really taught me a lot about history and the period of time in which this book took place.

Hero by Mike Lupica

I just started reading a new book called Hero and it is by Mike Lupica. The book is about a boy named Billy, and when he gets in a plane crash he starts developing superhuman powers that he cannot explain. A family friend and a mysterious stranger both try to help Billy by guiding him through this but he does not know who to trust. Finally, with the help of his best friend Kate, Billy starts an adventure to figure out his fathers death as well as where his powers came from, and how to control them.

The Reapers Are The Angels 2

Although I have a broken Jaw and have not been able to read due to the amount of pain I am in each day I have read part one of The Reapers Are The Angels and I think the novel, and the writing in general are both very good. So far I have enjoyed getting to know each character as we meet the family at Bell Aisle. Temple is a very unique person and I love the character work that the author does with her. I think that all of the characters are very much brought alive and I look forward to reading the rest when I am not in as much pain.

Books I Want To Read

2.The Hunger Games
3.I, Robot
4.The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest

Planes as a Symbol

Airplanes are important in The Reepers Are The Angels and they are also important to human beings in the real world everyday. In the real world planes help people get to where they need to go, and they do it fast. So, it acts as a symbol in the book because it represents how people are able to avoid everyday traffic by flying.
